Chelsea transfer target Christopher Nkunku is back in training with RB Leipzig after his injury last year.
Nkunku was ruled out of the 2022 Qatar World Cup with a knee injury picked up while on international duty with France shortly before the tournament began. The 25 year-old is widely expected to sign for Chelsea when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.
If the Blues are to make their move official, it will be music to the club's ears that the winger is back fit. football.london understands that Nkunku has signed a pre-contract agreement with Chelsea and will link up with Graham Potter's side in the summer.

It has been reported that Nkunku was expected to play a part in Leipzig's Champions League clash with Manchester City this month but his club have indeed confirmed he is in training once again.

"Nkunku is back in full training!" a post by Leipzig's official Twitter page read alongside a picture of the player in action.
The update from Leipzig came a day after Nkunku himself dropped a hint about a potential return to fitness, uploading a post on his Instagram story with an hourglass alongside a picture of himself.
It appears to be a matter of time until Nkunku completes his move to Chelsea, with Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl saying last month the 'signs are very, very clear that he's moving to Chelsea'.
football.london understands that Chelsea have held a long-term interest in Nkunku but balked at a move last summer because of Leipzig's £87.6million price tag.
Late into the summer window, Nkunku inked fresh terms in his contract that threw a potential Chelsea move into doubt but with a release clause put into his contract which becomes active this summer, he will be able to leave Leipzig for much less.
