Arsen Zakharyan agent makes major Chelsea admission
Pavel Andreev, the agent of Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan, has claimed that his client may still join Chelsea despite a collapsed possible move last summer. As previously reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Blues were very close to signing the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist claimed that Zakharyan had even agreed to move to Stamford Bridge on personal terms, although Chelsea and Dynamo failed to make a deal in the end.
“There remains a possibility of a transfer of Arsen Zakharyan to Chelsea,” the agent said this week, via sports.ru.

Chelsea enter Youri Tielemans transfer race
Chelsea are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Blues have entered the race to sign the Belgium international. Tielemans' contract expires next summer and the midfielder had been tipped to leave the Foxes in the last summer transfer window.
But a move did not come to fruition, and now Todd Boehly appears to be eyeing a move for the 25-year-old. According to Jacobs, Chelsea may have to sign him for a fee in January to fend off competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona, who could tie him down to a pre-contract agreement next month. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are also in the frame to sign Tielemans.
Todd Boehly can provide Chelsea World Cup star for N'Golo Kante replacement
As we approach the January transfer window, Caicedo has been linked with a move to west London. Sky Sports have reported that the Blues are joined by Liverpool in the race to lure him away from Brighton following his performances in Qatar.
Back in November, the 21-year-old expressed his hope of reuniting with Potter, giving Boehly the incentive to pay the Seagulls what they want for the midfielder. He told Ole: "I think they are one of the best teams in the world and nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea or any other club like that. It’d be a dream to be in the best teams in the world and succeed there."
Caicedo isn't the only Ecuadorian that Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up. The report claims Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapie has been identified as a potential alternative to Josko Gvardiol. However, like Caicedo, Hincapie would cost a hefty fee due to his contract with Xavi Alonso's side running until 2026.
