Chelsea transfer news: Thomas Tuchel 'offered' Serie A star as Blues 'learn' £35m release clause

Here are your latest Chelsea transfer football.london headlines.

Olise release clause revealed

Former Chelsea transfer target Michael Olise is though to have a £35 million release clause, according to The Times. Though the report claims that it remains unclear as to whether it only becomes active in the event of relegation.

According to The Sun, via The Daily Mail in February, the Blues were 'keeping tabs' on the Crystal Palace forward's availability. Thomas Tuchel's side were reportedly one of five top-flight clubs interested in Olise's signature ahead of the summer transfer window.

Speaking to BBC Sport, football scout and coach Sean Conlon claimed that Olise, a former student at Cobham, can make it to the very top: “We had Michael when he was young but when he left Chelsea when he was 14, that was when we really got involved with him again. He can go to the very, very top. Everybody at Chelsea is so pleased with his success."

Chelsea offered Serie A defender

Kalidou Koulibaly has been offered to Chelsea by his agent Fali Ramadani ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to Area Napoli, as quoted by Sport Witness. The 30-year-old centre-half sees his contract with Napoli expire at the end of next season, potentially making him available for a cut-price deal.

The report claims that the Blues have been one of many leading sides in Europe to have been offered Koulibaly's services. It's believed that the Senegal international, who's been regarded as one of Serie A's leading defenders in recent times, has a €35m (£29.8m) price tag.

However, Area Napoli add that Chelsea have been chosen by Koulibaly's agent due to the club's willingness to guarantee the defender a high wage, with a number of centre-backs set to eave at the end of the season.

West Ham set sights on Broja

West Ham are planning a move for Armando Broja this summer following his loan spell at Southampton, according to The Sun. The report claims that the David Moyes has been impressed by the 20-year-old's performances this season.

football.london understands that Arsenal are monitoring the situation, while Ralph Hasenhuttl wants the striker to stay at St Mary's. Rumours have been swirling about potential £25 million bids, but according to a new report, any suitor will have to spend more than double that to convince Chelsea to sell Broja.

Tuttomercatoweb state that the Blues value the striker at around €70m (£57.8m). And, apparently, that's higher than they currently value Romelu Lukaku following a difficult start to his second stint at Stamford Bridge.
