Amid Chelsea 's ongoing off the field issues, there is little capacity to form a transfer strategy for the summer at the Bridge right now until new owners come in and take their own direction with transfer policy. However, this has not stopped both Mathijs De Ligt and Darwin Nunez both being linked with the Blues in recent days.
Any summer transfer activity is likely to be dictated by which players leave the club, with departures for Andreas Christensen and Antonio Ridiger looking like a distinct possibility, along with the departure of £97.5 million man Romelu Lukaku. Here we take a look at the day's Chelsea transfer rumours.
Lukaku linked as Harry Kane replacement
With the reported interest of PSG in the signature of Romelu Lukaku, as per The Sun, other clubs will be thinking about the Belgian striker as part of their transfer plans amid the striker's reported unrest at Stamford Bridge. One surprise option could be Tottenham, with the future of England captain Harry Kane an uncertainty with his contract up in 2024.

Spurs manager and former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte won the league with Lukaku leading the line for his Inter Milan side last term and could be keen on working with them in the future. Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes that this could be the case and has been speaking on the issue this week.
Speaking to TalkSport he outlined what could happen if the unlikely event Kane left Tottenham arose. "As long as Antonio Conte is there, I don't think Harry Kane will be going anywhere. Looks like he is getting the best out of him and there is a real mutual respect there, you have to say," said Bent.
"But if the worst came to the worst and Harry Kane did go elsewhere, if they could get [Romelu] Lukaku... we've seen what he's done under Conte, he got the best out of him."
Chelsea eye 'next Bukayo Saka' from Arsenal
The Chelsea academy are looking to poach a target from one of their North London rivals as youngster Khayon Edwards is linked to join Chelsea. The Blues would need to establish new owners before any deal was made. The interest has been reported by Goal with the 18-year old in prolific form this term.
He has scored in every single one of Arsenal's Under 18 Premier League games this season as part of a remarkable campaign for the wonderkid. He has also trained with the Gunners' first team this season after impressing Mikel Arteta.
His scholarship in North London expires at the end of the season, meaning that any interested parties will be able to secure a deal for him in the summer. However, if the Blues' transfer restrictions are not lifted by then, there is plenty of interest in Edwards from other Premier League clubs such as Southampton, Leeds and Brighton.
