Your morning Chelsea transfer round-up on Monday, January 30.
Fernandez deadline stress
The deadline which Chelsea must sign Enzo Fernandez by appears to have been brought forward, with Todd Boehly set to lose out on crucial time. The Benfica star continues to be heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as Graham Potter looks to bolster his midfield.
The Portuguese side lock horns with Arouca on Tuesday evening at 9:15pm— just one hour and 45 minutes before the transfer window deadline. With Benfica unlikely to negotiate with Chelsea over a deal during the game, there would not be much time for the two parties to speak after the final whistle.
So, according to Ben Jacobs, if the Blues can unlock a breakthrough, all parties ideally want an ultimatum on Monday to avoid distraction on matchday. This means that the deadline to sign Fernandez could be brought forward by a day, losing crucial time which could otherwise be spent negotiating and signing deal sheets.

Malo Gusto first words
Chelsea's newest January acquisition Malo Gusto has admitted the Blues' exciting project was his main reason for wanting to join the club. The 19-year-old full-back joins on a six-and-a-half-year contract and will be loaned back to the Ligue 1 side for the rest of the season.
The Frenchman's arrival takes Todd Boehly's January spending to £213.7million as he follows Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos and David Datro Fofana through the door at Stamford Bridge.
Upon signing for Chelsea, Gusto said: "I like the city [London]. I am really really happy to come here. I chose Chelsea because it's a very big club and I like the project. I am very happy to be here. Thank you for your messages. See you soon."
Skriniar snubs Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs
Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar has confirmed that he will join Paris Saint-Germain this month if the two clubs can reach an agreement. The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham on a number of occasions but a switch has never materialised.
With the defender set to be available for a cut-price fee, French outlet FootMercato reported that an English club was looking to rival PSG over a move. The report stated that an unnamed English club has made a 'sensational entrance' on negotiations.
But, speaking to Slovakian outlet Futbalsfv.sk, as quoted by FCInter1908.it, Skriniar announced: "I have signed with PSG, I cannot say any more. I’m waiting for an agreement between the clubs."
