Mount exit
Mason Mount has confirmed his transfer to Manchester United from Chelsea with a heartwarming video on Instagram. The 24-year-old midfielder faced an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, with just 12-months remaining his on contract.
"Given the speculation over the last six months this may not come as a surprise to you, but it doesn't make it any easier to tell you I have made the decision to leave Chelsea," said the Cobham graduate. "I thought you deserved more than just a written statement, so I wanted to tell you directly how grateful I have been for all of your support over the last 18 years.
"I know some of you won't be happy with my decision but it's what is right for me at this moment in my career. I joined Chelsea when I was six-years-old and we have been through a lot together, winning the Youth Cup, my Player of the Year awards, the Super Cup, the Club World Cup and of course the unforgettable night when we won the Champions League... wish you all the best."

United headstart
Chelsea have unlocked a huge advantage over Manchester United in the race to sign Diogo Costa. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer following his impressive performances for Porto.
With Chelsea expected to face tough competition for Costa, super agent Jorge Mendes will help the Blues wrap up a deal, according to A Bola as quoted by Sport Witness. The report states that the Portuguese outfit are proving difficult to negotiate with, standing firm by their asking price.
A Bola add that the west Londoners have been keen to split a payment of €75m (£64.2m) into three instalments, which Porto have rejected. Last month, Costa was quizzed on speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.

Wonderkid hint
Andrey Santos appears to have prematurely confirmed the signing of Angelo Gabriel on social media. The 18-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently as Todd Boehly looks to line the Chelsea squad with some of the world's most exciting young players.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign the wonderkid in a deal worth around £15million. Gabriel has long been regarded as one of the top prospects in Brazil and the west Londoners will be hoping that he can follow in the footsteps of Neymar, who also earned his stripes at Santos.
On Instagram, Santos posted an image of himself during Mauricio Pochettino's first training session at Cobham. In the comment section, Gabriel posted two blue emojis. With a blue heart emoji, Santos simply replied: "See you soon."
