Chelsea 'agree' personal terms with £52m star Mauricio Pochettino loves ahead of crucial talks
Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana ahead of this evening's UEFA Champions League final. The Blues have identified the shot-stopper as their first-choice target to become Mauricio Pochettino's new number one.
Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy are facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge, with new head coach Pochettino wanting to sign a new goalkeeper, football.london understands.
A decision on Onana's future is set to be made after Inter's Champions League final clash against Manchester City in Istanbul last night. Reports claim that Chelsea have scheduled a meeting with the Italian side in the coming weeks, with the goalkeeper's future at the top of the agenda.
Following reports that the west Londoners were considering AC Milan's Mike Maignan, it has now been reported from TuttoMercatoWeb that Onana has already agreed personal terms in principle with Chelsea. The Italian report, however, also claims that Inter have rejected an opening bid worth €40million (£34m).
The opening bid is £18million short of Inter's valuation of the goalkeeper. The Telegraph's Matt Law has claimed the Serie A side are demanding €60million (£52m) for his services this summer, leaving Todd Boehly significantly short.

Chelsea eye former Arsenal player in shock transfer move after Mauricio Pochettino demand
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign a new goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, football.london understands. The Blues are set to move on one of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy ahead of next season with a number of shot-stoppers across Europe being linked with a switch to west London.
Inter Milan's Andre Onana, Brentford's David Raya and Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez have all been touted as potential targets for Chelsea. However, it seems Pochettino is now keen on bringing a former Arsenal keeper to Stamford Bridge.
According to TuttoJuve, the Blues are facing competition from Premier League rivals for the signing of Juventus star Wojciech Szczesny. The Polish goalkeeper left Arsenal back in 2017 and has become a key performer for Juve in the last six years.
Szczesny's contract is not set to expire until 2025 meaning the Italian side could demand a significant fee to let the 33-year-old leave the club this summer. Chelsea have not been convinced by either Kepa or Mendy last season with both goalkeepers failing to prove they deserve to remain as the club's No.1.
Huge Christian Pulisic transfer update as Chelsea star sparks Newcastle and Man United interest
Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has been given the 'green light' to leave the club according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano claims that AC Milan have been told about the player's situation but that other teams are keen. Their priority is reportedly a permanent move and that will be Chelsea's, too, given the player is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge come the end of the month.
