Chelsea transfer news: Eden Hazard offer, Timo Werner exit, Antonio Rudiger boost

Chelsea will have all of their focus left on the Champions League and FA Cup this season as they appeared to have fallen short of making a title charge. The goal for next season will be to sustain a challenge at the top of the table and bring back another Premier League trophy.

If Thomas Tuchel is to do that, then the summer may prove a crucially important moment for the German coach and his squad. With the transfer window open yet again, the Blues may add to their ranks.

Chelsea have already been linked with a number of players for the window as they eye potential moves. With that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest transfer rumours emanating out of the Emirates Stadium.

Real Madrid listen to Eden Hazard offers

Chelsea have been linked with a move for former winger Eden Hazard from Real Madrid, following a difficult time for the Belgian. The 31-year-old has made just 17 La Liga appearances this season, with a number of injuries hampering him.

Despite making the move for over £100million in 2019, AS reports that Los Blancos are willing to listen to offers for the winger in an attempt to move him on. The report claims that signing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer is their aim and Hazard would have to leave if he joins.

Timo Werner exit

Chelsea striker Timo Werner has been the subject of potential exit talks in recent weeks, having struggled to translate his performances from RB Leipzig to the Premier League. The Daily Express reports that Werner’s advisor, Volker Struth, has discussed a potential transfer with Juventus, AC Milan and Atalanta.

Since making his £47million move, the German has only scored 19 goals in 81 competitive appearances and Struth is said to be actively seeking a move away.

Antonio Rudiger boost

Chelsea have been given a potential boost in their attempts to keep hold of defender Antonio Rudiger for next season. The Germany international is set to be a free agent in the summer, with Thomas Tuchel already stating his desire to keep him for the next campaign.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs and Barcelona are one of the latest. However, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blaugrana are unlikely to make a move for the centre-back, with teammate Andreas Christensen eyeing a move to the Nou Camp.
