Welcome to the football.london transfer briefing. To help you keep on top of all things Chelsea going on in the market we've got the latest noises coming from social media, journalists and so-called ITKs, rounding up what's what in the world of the Blues.
AC Milan move considered
Chelsea are considering whether to make a move for AC Milan and France goalkeeper Mike Maignan. The shot-stopper has been on the Blues' radar for some time with the club struggling to for a consistent number one at Stamford Bridge.
The Telegraph have claimed the 27 year-old is on Mauricio Pochettino's radar and a move for him is being considered by the club's hierarchy.
football.london says: It's not surprising that Chelsea continue to be linked with a new goalkeeper. Kepa was OK last season and did pull off a number of fine saves when called upon, but the lack of a world-class figure inbetween the sticks has been lacking for some time despite the Spaniard's £71 million ($91m) move to the club.
Edouard Mendy's imminent move to Saudi Arabia leaves Kepa with a clear path to be Chelsea's No.1 next season, but the constant rumours about a new goalkeeper indicates that Pochettino wants to improve the position.
Fortunately for Chelsea, a good relationship has been formed between the two clubs following the move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Maignan won't come cheap, but investing in a superior goalkeeper is always a smart move.

Mount talks arranged
The Red Devils have failed to make a breakthrough in negotiations with the Blues, with two bids already rejected. Talks between the two sides are scheduled to take place in the coming days.
football.london says: Despite already rejecting two bids for Mount, Chelsea must be tempted to cash in on the approximately £60m hat they will recoup from Man United. Holding out for £70m for a player who is likely to leave on a free transfer next season simply doesn't make any sense.
Talks being scheduled in a bid to agree on a deal looks to be United's last attempt at pursuing the England international. The priority will be to, somehow, force Chelsea to accept below their valuation of their player.
Should no final deal be agreed and United walk away, Mount is almost certain to carry on being professional and focus on the job at hand at Stamford Bridge. Who knows, he may be vital in Pochettino's system at Chelsea.
