Todd Boehly has been encouraged to sign Brighton star Leandro Trossard as Graham Potter looks to implement his philosophy at Chelsea. The 27-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues since his former boss swapped the Amex Stadium for Stamford Bridge.
He, who has a contract at Brighton until 2023, has featured 11 times for the Seagulls in the Premier League this season, directly contributing towards eight goals. Trossard's performances have helped Brighton climb into ninth position as Roberto De Zerbi's side look to secure European football this term.
A handful of impressive displays - namely a hat-trick against Liverpool at Anfield - have seen the Belgium international tipped to replace former Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard in the Red Devils' side at the Qatar World. And, according to former Manchester United defender Paul Parker, the Blues shouldn't waste any time in signing Trossard.

Speaking to BonusCodeBets, the 58-year-old said: "Chelsea should sign Leandro Trossard, he would improve their team a lot. His energy and his pace would be a perfect fit for Chelsea under Graham Potter.
"I'm a big fan of Trossard, and I can't believe that he is not a part of the Belgium national team. That is really strange, he would perform way better than Eden Hazard."
Trossard has already admitted that he would want to follow former boss Potter to Stamford Bridge 'if the opportunity arises'. But, the Belgian insisted that he would not settle for anything less than a place in the Blues' starting XI.
"Our coach has now left for Chelsea, but speculations about me following him are pointless," Trossard said in September. "If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I do want to play and not sit on the couch."
Then, when asked again about a move to west London, Trossard said that he'll be putting talk of a move away from the south coast on hold until after the World Cup. The final of the international competition is on December 18, with the January transfer window set to open just under two weeks later.
"It’s very difficult to answer that," the £12.9million-rated winger Play Sports. "That will have to wait until [after the World Cup]. I’m not on it at all right now. Brighton and the World Cup are the next goals. Afterwards, we’ll see where it ends."
