Chelsea target Jude Bellingham sent Jadon Sancho Man Utd transfer warning as Boehly eyes deal

Jude Bellingham has been warned not to make a move to the Premier League too soon, with Jadon Sancho's current situation at Manchester United serving as a warning to the teenage star.

Chelsea-linked Bellingham has been cautioned by former England midfielder Paul Ince, with the current Reading manager saying that the fate of his former Borussia Dortmund teammate serves as a reminder that the grass is not always greener amid links to the Premier League's biggest clubs.

Sancho has lost his place in the England squad since his £80million move from Germany last summer, with the 22-year-old missing out on a place at the World Cup in Qatar. He has often cut a frustrated figure during his time at United, failing to replicate the form which saw him score 50 goals in 137 appearances at Dortmund.

Like Sancho before him, Bellingham has become a star in the Bundesliga, and his form at club level has seen interest from many of Europe's top clubs. Chelsea are believed to be targeting a move for the former Birmingham City youth product, but face strong competition from the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Ince was speaking to Lord Ping as he made comparisons between Bellingham and his former England teammate Paul Gascoigne while insisting that there is no rush to move to the Premier League, saying: "It's early doors yet and Jude Bellingham hasn't yet played in the Premier League so he's got a long way before he is at the level of the players I played with.

"Paul Gascoigne is one of, if not the best player I ever played with and It's a long time before Jude Bellingham gets to that level but the potential is definitely there to do that.

"There will be a lot of clubs after Jude but he has to be careful because you look at Jadon Sancho coming from Dortmund and he's struggled a bit at Old Trafford. It's about timing. Sancho moved to the biggest club in the country and is struggling, so Bellingham needs to sit down with his people and decide what he will do. There's no rush for him to play in the Premier League."
