Chelsea are willing to offer Romelu Lukaku to Tottenham next summer in an astonishing move to land Harry Kane.
The Blues, now under former Brighton manager Graham Potter, are making plans for the future and are intent on bolstering their striking options. Ex-boss Thomas Tuchel often did without a No.9 during his reign, despite the £97million transfer of Lukaku, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recently signed from Barcelona, before Tuchel's exit. Both Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz are also central attacking options.
Now reports in Italy have suggested that Potter and Blues owner Todd Boehly are keen on bringing England captain Kane to Stamford Bridge next summer to end their striking woes... and are willing to offer Antonio Conte a reunion with Lukaku to help seal the deal.
According to Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea are banking on including Lukaku in the deal as a way of convincing Spurs to sell their star player next summer, and believe that Kane's contract situation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could play into their hands.
Kane is tied down to Spurs until the summer of 2024 at present, and while talks over a new deal have begun, there remains no guarantee over when and if an agreement will be reached.
Much will ultimately depend on Kane's desire, but Conte has previously worked with Belgian powerhouse Lukaku at Inter Milan, with the striker being a crucial component of the Nerazzurri's Scudetto success in 2021.

Aubameyang and Havertz are set to battle to be Chelsea's attacking focal point between now and the end of the season. Boehly wanted Cristiano Ronaldo to join this summer, but former manager Tuchel turned down the opportunity to sign the Manchester United striker.
Kane has consistently performed at the highest level since making his Spurs breakthrough during the 2013-14 campaign, recording 254 goals in 395 appearances across all competitions for the north London outfit, including six in seven top flight games this season.
