Chelsea squad in full for Luton Town FA Cup tie revealed as Thomas Tuchel hints at changes

Chelsea will be aiming to go one further in the FA Cup this season as they aim to add to Thomas Tuchel’s impressive trophy haul.

The Blues have of course been beaten finalists in each of the last two seasons, falling to Leicester City at Wembley Stadium last season following another unfortunate reverse at the hands of Arsenal.

The current European and world champions are en route to another appearance in the final though and come up against Championship outfit Luton Town in the fifth round of the current edition of the competition.

Under the stewardship of Nathan Jones, the Hatters are currently situated in the play-off positions, so it will certainly be no easy task for the Blues.

Ahead of the game, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has hinted that his side could be in for some rotation with a number of players suffering from fatigue, whilst a couple have some injury worries to contend with.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the German said: "The [injury] situation was very, very good before the match [against Liverpool], because we had only Ben Chilwell out.

“Then the situation changed almost dramatically from this match.

"Now we have a lot of players in physical overload and we have some injuries from the match. It's actually too much to comment because it would be a long list, so we need to see.

"We had training today, the physios, the doctors are still working with the players to find out and we can take the last decision tomorrow morning when we have the departure to Luton.

"We will see who's ready to play, because we want to be ready to play but we suffered. It's now the third time we've played overtime, it was an intense match and this is where we are."

With that being said, football.london has taken a close look at the options available ahead of the clash.
