Chelsea are open to sending Tino Anjorin out on loan once again but the 21-year-old will not be sold this summer, football.london understands.
Anjorin has spent the last season-and-a-half on loan with Championship side Huddersfield Town but injuries have proved a constant frustration for the Chelsea man. Over the course of his spell in Yorkshire, Anjorin has made just 17 appearances in all competitions – scoring three goals and registering one assist.
The midfielder is currently back at Cobham training in a group with other players who have recently returned from loan spells elsewhere, including Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Anjorin wants to get a good pre-season under his belt as he ponders many options ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
football.london has been told there is interest from England, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Scotland in Anjorin's signature. Chelsea are willing to loan the youngster out once again, but the club have no plans of selling him this summer.
Anjorin, who spent half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, is open to moving abroad once again if the right opportunity arises. No decision has been made yet, though, over where he will be playing his football next term.
At 21, Anjorin still fits the kind of profile Chelsea, as a club, are looking at when it comes to players. He still has two years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, so another loan spell looks a sensible option for both parties.
