Chelsea have set their sights on an alternative to Rangers' Jefte.
The Rangers Review revealed earlier in the week that the London club were setting their sights on the left-back ahead of a potential move at the season's end.
Jefte joined Rangers in the summer from Fluminense for less than £1m and has had a great first six months at Ibrox. His efforts clearly haven't gone unnoticed.

However, when asked if the club is the best place for Jefte to continue his development, Rangers manager Phillippe Clement said: “I know these kinds of clubs. I had some players going there or similar clubs.
"Maybe one day, if he makes a normal evolution. With what he's been doing now, I think one day he will be ready for that. But for the moment, it's too early. And I think this is a good place for him to develop."
In the meantime, Chelsea look to have set their sites on a different Brazilian prospect.
Indeed, the Stamford Bridge side have offered Corinthians €8m (£6.7m), with another €4.5m (£3.8m) in add-ons, for 16-year-old left-back Denner.
Speaking to Meu Timao in Brazil, Corinthians President Augusto Melo delved into the details of the deal: "It’s €8m in cash," he said.
"Then there is another amount, of €100,000 per game. It’s a wonderful sale for a boy at 16 years old who hasn’t played a single professional game."
Jefte seems unbothered by the speculation, with his performance levels staying as good as ever and Clement stating that the left-back is 'totally not busy with all these rumours, totally not'.
