World Cup scouting mission
Chelsea have eyes on England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford during the 2022 World Cup as Graham Potter steps up pans to bring in a new No.1 at Stamford Bridge.
The Everton shot stopper has been Gareth Southgate's go too man for the last two major tournaments and is set to be the first choice in Qatar too, but it's the Blues that may well be watching on with added interest.
Potter has already made a change in the keeper department with Kepa Arrizabalaga replacing Edouard Mendy as the favoured choice, but the Spaniard's desire to leave over the summer, on top of his huge wages and streaky form throughout his SW6 career, has seen Todd Boehly looking elsewhere for long-term answers.

According to The Sun, that may well be found at Goodison Park, and Pickford may be the chosen man.

Ronaldo U-turn
The Cristiano Ronaldo saga isn't set to end anytime soon.
The Portuguese forward is currently in Qatar as he prepares to get down to action with his country at the World Cup, and the chances of him donning the red of Manchester United ever again are quickly disappearing.
Following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan, the Red Devils are looking into the legalities of the situation and the 37-year-old could yet be sacked. That could open up a free transfer in January, and Chelsea aren't out of the equation yet according to the Mirror.

Caicedo given 'Messi' example
Chelsea transfer target Moises Caicedo gained plaudits before his side's 2-0 victory over Qatar in the World Cup opener.
The 21-year-old only made his Premier League debut in April but was trusted by Graham Potter and made quite the name for himself.
The midfielder has now been linked with a big money move to Chelsea, following Potter, and could cost 10 times more than Brighton paid for him, with a £50m pricetag on his head. Alan Shearer raved about him regardless of his value though, explaining what he did to Lionel Messi for his country.
