Chelsea send youngster Bryan Fiabema to Rosenborg on loan with view to permanent transfer

Chelsea have loaned out Norway youth international Bryan Fiabema to Rosenborg.

The striker, 19, will spend the 2022 campaign in the Eliteserien and the Trondheim club have agreed an option to make his move permanent.

Fiabema caught the attention of Chelsea when coming through fellow Norwegian side Tromo’s academy to make his senior debut at the age of 16.

Making the move to west London in January 2020, he has featured for the Blues’ youth teams with appearances in this season’s Uefa Youth League and EFL Trophy.

“I am happy to be here and look forward to getting started,” Fiabema told his new club’s website.

“I have attended a very good school in Chelsea and am ready for senior football now.

“I was very interested when Rosenborg made contact. Rosenborg are Norway's largest club and one I have followed since I was little. Now I am here and ready to take the next step.

“I have a direct playing style and try to move forward every time I get the ball. I have speed and some power. Then I like to score goals - I don’t hide that.”
