Chelsea scouts were left impressed by the performance of Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby during the German side's Champions League win over Atletico Madrid in midweek, according to 90min.com.
Lining up on the opposite flank to loanee Callum Hudson-Odoi, it is believed Diaby is on the Blues' radar and club officials were present to check on both players.
Having endured a torrid start to the Bundesliga campaign despite hopes of a potential title challenge, Gerardo Seoane's side surprised many with a complete performance against Atletico, of which Diaby netted the second goal.

The 23-year-old has recently lost his place in Didier Deschamps' France squad for the September internationals but has undoubted pedigree after netting 13 times and registering 12 assists throughout the 2021/2022 season.
Representatives from Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle United were also reportedly present at the BayArena.
Leverkusen currently sit 15th in the Bundesliga table following just one win from their opening seven matches of the new campaign, with football.london taking a look at Hudson Odoi's performance in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Werder Bremen.
