Chelsea scraped a 1-0 win at home to West Ham United on Sunday afternoon. The Blues were far from their best against the Hammers in a rather non-eventful game at Stamford Bridge, but Christian Pulisic's finish in the 90th minute proved enough for the west Londoners.
Given the midweek defeat to Arsenal, Chelsea supporters were desperate to see a much-improved display from their side in another London derby. However, that was not the case as West Ham frustrated the European champions.
Chelsea had a glorious chance to win the match in the final five minutes of the clash. Craig Dawson was sent off for pulling Romelu Lukaku down. Jorginho took the spot-kick, but it was tame and easily saved by Lucasz Fabianski.
That looked as if it would be it for Chelsea, but Pulisic turned home Marcos Alonso's low cross to give the Blues maximum points against their city rivals. Relief around Stamford Bridge.
