Chelsea’s final four Premier League fixtures compared to Arsenal and Tottenham in top-four race

Chelsea may have started to look cautiously over their shoulder after a defeat to Everton on Sunday meant Arsenal sit just three points behind them with four Premier League matches left to play. While their place in the top four does not seem to be in jeopardy, finishing third will still be a priority from now on.

Richarlison scored the only goal of the game on Sunday afternoon to pick up a huge three points for the Toffees. It was a defeat that left Thomas Tuchel visibly frustrated with on the touchline and he will be looking for a big response from his misfiring side against Wolves next weekend.

Arsenal and Tottenham are set to scrap it out for that final place in the top four with a mammoth clash between the rivals still to come in north London as well. With all this in mind, football.london takes a look at the next four fixtures of Chelsea's compared to their top-four rivals.

Wolves (H) - May 7

Next up are Wolves, who are still in with a shout of European football this season. The West Midlands outfit currently sit three points behind West Ham in seventh, a Europa Conference League place, with one game in hand.

Bruno Lage has made his side notoriously difficult to beat, often keeping it tight at the back, but struggling more in attack.

Leeds (A) - May 11

Then it’s a trip to Elland Road for the final away game of the season. Strugglers Leeds appeared to have steered clear of trouble at the bottom of the table under new boss Jesse Marsch, but they have since been dragged back into the relegation scrap.

The Whites are only two points clear from the drop and will certainly be fighting for every point available.

Leicester (H) - May 19

The penultimate game of the season is at home against Leicester City. The Foxes have struggled at times this season, but look more than set for a mid-table finish.

They could still have Europe on their mind, however, as they are currently in the Europa Conference League semi-finals against AS Roma. If they book a place in the final, they could prioritise that fixture instead.

Watford (H) - May 22

The final game in an up-and-down season comes against Watford at home. The Hornets look destined to have been already relegated back to the Championship by the time this fixture rolls around.

Roy Hodgson’s men currently sit in 19th, 12 points from safety with 12 points left to play for.
