Ousmane Dembele is reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea about a move to west London.
The French winger has been linked since January as reports of his refusal to sign a new contract with Barcelona came to light. As he's still only 25, and because he's already worked with Thomas Tuchel when the German was in charge of Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, Dembele would be a huge coup for the Blues as they enter their new era under the ownership of Todd Boehly's consortium.
According to the latest report from Mundo Deportivo, as cited by Barcauniversal, he's close to reaching a contract agreement with Chelsea, with a free transfer to Stamford Bridge now looming large.

And to make matters that little bit more interesting, Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko, has revealed that his client is still considering his client's future and is not yet ready to pen a new deal at the Nou Camp if it does eventually come to that.
As cited by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, he said: “Ousmane’s future remains open. We are and have always been very respectful to all clubs and this will continue to be the case while the process is ongoing. When it is the right time to make a decision, Ousmane will consider the best option for his future."
It'll be interesting to see what happens with the Frenchman in the coming months, but Dembele would be a statement signing for the new ownership as they look to put their stamp on Chelsea's squad.
