Chelsea have been handed a boat with a clash against Liverpool on the horizon.
The Reds are battling with a host of clubs for a place in the Premier League’s top four spot. Jurgen Klopp’s side are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United.
Liverpool face Chelsea in the league at Anfield on January 21, after facing Brighton and a replay against Wolves in the FA Cup. And it looks like Chelsea will have a new player in their ranks.

It has been confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that Chelsea have signed Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. The Portugal international has moved to Stamford Bridge on loan until the end of the season.
Reports have claimed that Chelsea will pay a sizable loan fee to sign Felix, with £9m supposedly the figure paid to Atletico. It has also been reported that the London club will pay 100% of Felix’s wages.
Chelsea are currently three points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table and in 10th place. The Reds are yet to play them in the league due to their fixture in September at Stamford Bridge being postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, with a rearranged date yet to be confirmed.
