Following an official announcement in the early hours of Saturday morning, with Chelsea confirming Todd Boehly's consortium has agreed on terms to become the club's new ownership group, it was back to the on-field matters for Thomas Tuchel and his side. The Blues took on Wolves, who have virtually nothing to play for in the Premier League.
Chelsea had the better of the first half but were left frustrated with two goals being ruled out by the officials. Romelu Lukaku scored twice in the second period to give the Blues all three points in front of Boehly watching at Stamford Bridge. Fransico Trincao replied for Wolves, but it turned out to be just a consolation for the visitors.
So, with all this being said, football.london tries its best to rate all of the Chelsea players from the clash at Stamford Bridge. Let us know in the comment section down below if you agree with them or not.

Edouard Mendy
A relatively quiet afternoon for the Chelsea goalkeeper. Did well to save a Pedro Neto effort in the first half. Nothing he could do for both of the goals. 6.
Cesar Azpilicueta
He looked way off it, as he did against Everton last weekend. Looks as if he is playing with too much emotion at the moment. 5.
Thiago Silva
Just did Thiago Silva things. He looked so calm and composed to relieve Chelsea of any pressure when counter-attacked. Superb. 7.
Antonio Rudiger
He didn't seem to be too involved in the match, which is always a good sign when you're a defender. He did well when called upon, though. 6.
Reece James
He played at right wing-back in the first half but then switched with Azpilicueta in the second period. Did well but wasn't his usual creative self. 6.
Marcos Alonso
Alonso was unable to threaten the Wolves back-line in the first half. The left wing-back was then taken off at half-time for Saul Niguez. 6.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Just like against Everton last weekend, Loftus-Cheek looked majestic in the Chelsea midfield. He had plenty of moments where he dribbled past the Wolves midfield - making it look so easy in the process. 7.
Mateo Kovacic
He looked fabulous as always. Kovacic, alongside Loftus-Cheek, looked like a formidable partnership in the centre of midfield for Chelsea. 7.
Timo Werner
Werner was unfortunate to come out of that game without a goal to his name. The German scored what looked like a perfect goal in the first half, but the referee said he fouled Romain Saiss. 6.
Christian Pulisic
The American looked great playing behind Romelu Lukaku at Stamford Bridge. He may be frustrated with his lack of game time recently, but he has now put a serious claim to be in the side for next weekend's FA Cup final with Liverpool. 7.
Romelu Lukaku
Finally! The Belgian was brilliant when Chelsea needed him. He won the penalty for the first and then converted from 12 yards. His second goal was a thing of beauty. Lukaku looked like a different player. 9.
Substitute - Saul Niguez
Came on for Alonso at half-time. He went and played left wing-back but didn't do too much, but equally, he looked solid. 6.
Substitute - Malang Sarr
N/A. Played five minutes.
Substitute - Kai Havertz
Played even less. N/A.
