Chelsea player ratings vs Barrow: Christopher Nkunku oozes class while Joao Felix produces finest moment yet

Chelsea stormed into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a dominant victory over League Two outfit, Barrow.

The Blues romped to a 5-0 win at Stamford Bridge, with Christopher Nkunku bagging a hat-trick despite head coach Enzo Maresca making 11 changes to the team who beat West Ham on Saturday.

Pedro Neto was also on the scoresheet, while Joao Felix forced an own goal from Barrow 'keeper Paul Farman with a fine first-half free-kick.

Here’s how Enzo Maresca’s side rated at Stamford Bridge...

Filip Jorgensen 6

Crowded at a couple of early Barrow set-pieces but a near spectator from the moment Chelsea scored. Made first save in 68th minute.

Malo Gusto 7

Back after two games out with a hamstring injury. Looked sharp and made Nkunku’s second with fine cross, before winning free-kick for Chelsea third.

Axel Disasi 6

Went close to a fifth during the second-half. Never out of second gear.

Benoit Badiashile 6

A couple of important early headers as Barrow loaded the box from set-pieces. A stroll thereafter.

Renato Veiga 6

Good pass through the lines to Felix in the move for the opener. Showed versatility by slotting in at centre-back at half-time.

Caesare Casadei 6

Shaky start when caught out by Barrow’s intensity. Settled thereafter but hardly hammering the door down for future opportunities.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 6

Frustrated by lack of space in midfield early on but grew into the game. Denied a first Chelsea goal by fine save.

Pedro Neto 7

At last got chance to play on his favoured right flank and played part in second goal with clever back-heel. First Chelsea goal was a simple one.

Joao Felix 8

Moment of real quality with scooped pass for Nkunku opener, then hit post with free-kick for the third and had a hand in the fourth, too.

Mykhailo Mudryk 7

Unselfish in squaring for Neto to score the fourth. Pacy threat throughout.

Christopher Nkunku 9

Hat-trick took his tally to six for the season. Flicked finish for second was class.

Substitutes

Ben Chilwell (Gusto 46’) 6

Huge ovation when sent on for first appearance since April. Still, damning that he did not start.

Josh Acheampong (Disasi 63’) N/A

Tyrique George (Neto 63’) N/A

Should have opener his senior account but slid wide.

Marc Guiu (Nkunku 76’) N/A
