Chelsea suffered a 4-0 defeat by rivals Arsenal in Orlando, leading to an inquest about their dismal display.
Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga all scored for Mikel Arteta’s side in a match that threatened to be a rout by half-time.
Chelsea regained some control by switching formation in the second half and through bringing on Kalidou Koulibaly for his debut, but still conceded twice more with the Gunners bombarding their goal.
They posed little threat going forward with Aaron Ramsdale not making a save in front of a record 63,811 supporters.
Standard Sport’s Nizaar Kinsella was at Camping World Stadium to run the rule over Chelsea’s players...
Edouard Mendy - 5
Made a big save from Bukayo Saka’s sixth-minute shot and couldn’t do much about the goals. However, his distribution was poor and he gave the ball away for the second.
Reece James - 5
Looked good going forward but again was exposed at the back. Gabriel Martinelli gave him a torrid time down his flank, where two goals came from.
Thiago Silva - 6
Defending is a team effort and Silva didn’t do much wrong but was part of an overall terrible display in the backline.
Trevoh Chalobah - 4
Gave the ball away for Gabriel Jesus’s goal in his own half, with the backline not set to defend. The entire defence struggled throughout.
Emerson Palmieri - 5
Again, wasn’t the most at fault for the goals but couldn’t contribute enough for a solid defensive display.
Conor Gallagher - 5
The former Crystal Palace loanee put in a few robust challenges early on and would have been booked in a competitive Premier League match.
Jorginho - 5
Gave the ball away on numerous occasions. His primary job in the team is to dictate play and he couldn’t with Granit Xhaka winning the midfield battle against the Italy international.
Mason Mount - 5
Squared the ball well for Werner early on. Hit the post from 18 yards out late in the first half in the first real attack for his side.
Raheem Sterling - 5
Struggled to get into the game or on the ball to create chances. He almost got on the end of James’s cross.
Timo Werner - 5
Had a few touches in the box but didn’t look confident in front of goal.
Kai Havertz - 5
A few good bits of link-up play but often struggled with his back to goal as Gabriel got tight to him on every occasion.

Malang Sarr - 6
Provided one of Chelsea’s few shots with an effort from range early in the second half. The France Under-21 international didn’t make any mistakes as Chelsea looked more solid in a back three.
Marcos Alonso - 6
Almost got on the end of an Azpilicueta cross early in the second half and should have connected with a Hakim Ziyech ball later on. He did help guide Chelsea back to solidity in his favoured left wing-back spot, but they conceded twice more in the half that he played.
Cesar Azpilicueta - 7
Was brought on for Sterling to allow Chelsea to switch to their favoured 3-4-3 after a bad first half. Almost created a chance in the 51st minute with a good cross that no one could get on the end of.
Kalidou Koulibaly - 7
Despite only being on the pitch for a short time, he produced two great defensive actions. One was a rapid recovery run to dispossess Nicolas Pepe, who ran in behind. The second was a last-ditch block on the same player when he was through on goal.
Mateo Kovacic - 6
Booked for a heavy tackle on Thomas Partey, but he helped his side regain control of the match after a formation switch.
Christian Pulisic - 6
The US men’s national team captain was part of a more solid second half but rarely threatened Arsenal’s defence.
Hakim Ziyech - 6
Produced an excellent cross after coming on for the last 25 minutes, but offered little other threat.
Michy Batshuayi - 6
Headed a James cross wide in the 68th minute, which was his side’s best chance.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ethan Ampadu also made brief appearances off the bench for Chelsea.
