Chelsea 'part company' with key staff as Todd Boehly looks to fill crucial roles

Chelsea have reportedly parted company with two key members of staff. American owner Todd Boehly has been extremely active in his attempts to overhaul club staff from top to bottom since joining over the summer and now that looks set to keep going.

Influential directors Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech both left last summer while Bruce Buck joined them in heading for the Stamford Bridge exit. Head physiotherapist Thierry Laurent was dismissed as well amid the club's ongoing injury pandemic and the changes haven't stopped there.

Thomas Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter less than ten games into the new season and 18 new players have been signed for over £600m in the transfer market. The level of turnover has been unprecedented but it shows no sign of letting up.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, father and son combination Jason and Reisse Griffin have left their posts as head and assistant groundsman. Jason had been at the club for 30 years with high praise for the work done at Stamford Bridge, Cobham and Kingsmeadow.

The report continues to say that the club have declined to comment on the matter. The extent of the changes at the club have also seen new faces come into senior positions as well with new directors and board members being appointed.

As well as this, expert group Laurence Stewart, Christopher Vivell, Joe Shields and Paul Winstanley have all joined in a newlook and revamped recruitment department.
