Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are once again searching for a new manager to take charge at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have earned a reputation for chopping and changing managers on a regular basis over the years, and that trend has now continued under the new ownership regime.
Potter won just 12 of his 32 games in charge of the west London outfit equalling a 37.5% win percentage in the six months he spent at Chelsea after leaving Brighton. football.london understands that the search for a new manager will not be rushed with Bruno Saltor set to act as interim boss until a permanent replacement is appointed.
Julian Nagelsmann is the favourite to replace Potter at Chelsea after the German was dismissed from his role with Bayern Munich, football.london understands. Luis Enrique, Zinedine Zidane, Mauricio Pochettino, Ruben Amorim and Marco Silva have all been linked with the job at Stamford Bridge.

Nagelsmann is thought to be open to negotiate with Chelsea regarding their vacant managerial position but the Blues ownership are said to have concerns over the German's age, according to Sky Sports. The 35-year-old is just one of the names on the shortlist to replace Potter.
Despite wanting to take a break until the summer, he is willing to listen to what Chelsea have to say. Nagelsmann worked at RB Leipzig with Chelsea technical director Christopher Vivell, who is a big admirer of the German.
The report from Sky Sports adds that the search for a new head coach is being led by Chelsea sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, with the final decision to be made by the owners. There is still yet to be any contact from Chelsea over Nagelsmann with Bayern, who are due compensation if they want him.
The owners, however, have been impressed with Pochettino and he is someone they have a lot of respect for. The 51-year-old has been out of work since July after he was sacked by Paris Saint-Germain.
