Todd Boehly has been heavily investing in Chelsea's playing squad since completing his takeover of the club last May.
The US billionaire has spent over £600m in new signings over two transfer windows, bolstering nearly every area of the squad at Stamford Bridge. In the summer, over £250m was spent with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Kalidiou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all arriving.
Last month, with Chelsea occupying a mid-table position in the Premier League table, more signings were made as close to £300m was splashed on Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and six more.

Boehly's big spending in England isn't expected to stop at the end of the season either, with Christopher Nkunku already signing a pre-contract agreement and Paris-Saint Germain star Neymar the subject of interest from Chelsea.
But what exactly is the 49-year-old worth? According to Forbes, Boehly has a net worth of £5.3bn and is the 184th richest man in the USA. Alongside his stake in Chelsea, Boehly owns 20% of the Los Angeles Dodgers and is part owner of the Los Angeles Sparks.
However, the cumulative wealth between the Clearlake Capital Group, Hansjorg Wyss and Mark Walter is an estimated £13bn. The combined net worth makes Chelsea the third wealthiest club in the Premier League and around £3bn more than Arsenal.
Manchester City, who have won four titles in the previous five years, are the second wealthiest at £18.4bn courtesy of Abu Dhabi United Group's 81% ownership of the club. But, by some distance, Newcastle United are the richest team in England with an estimated net worth around £519bn following the Saudi Public Investment Fund's takeover in October 2021.
