Kepa's girlfriend has penalty say
Kepa Arrizabalaga’s girlfriend has had her say on Sunday's penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Blues keeper came on two minutes before the end of extra-time as Blues boss Thomas Tuchel hoped he could inspire yet another shootout success.
But after 21 penalties were put in the back of the net, Kepa stepped up to blaze his effort high over the crossbar and hand Liverpool the trophy.
The goalkeeper's girlfriend Andrea Martinez has now hit out at the "very unfair situation" her other half faced.
Tuchel's furious reaction
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel snapped at reporters after being questioned about Roman Abramovich's future at the club.
The German was speaking at a press conference ahead of the club's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Luton Town on Wednesday evening when he appeared to lose his cool.
After being grilled about Abramovich following the news the owner is handing the "stewardship and care" of the club to its charitable foundation earlier this week, the Chelsea boss was forced into a very short reply on the issue.
Club 'braced' for bids
Chelsea are reportedly 'braced' for interested parties to submit bids for the club in the coming weeks.
Roman Abramovich hopes to hand over "stewardship" of the Blues to their Charitable Foundation, although there r emains a degree of uncertainty over whether this proposed move will actually go through.
And that could lead to offers for the club being made, with reports suggesting at least three parties are interested in purchasing the Blues from Mr Abramovich.
