Barcelona have dealt Chelsea a huge blow ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Blues face a mounting defensive crisis with the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen all looking likely to leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the season. Christensen and Azpilicueta have been linked with moves to Camp Nou and club president Joan Laporta has confirmed that two deals have already been completed.
According to Laporta, Barca have signed a midfielder and a defender – which could spell bad news for Chelsea.

Failed Chelsea bidder Woody Johnson has opened up on the club's sale – and the vast quantities of money involved.
The American billionaire, heir to the vast wealth of the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical corporation, owns National League Football franchise the New York Jets and has described his failure to purchase the Blues as "disappointing". But while Johnson confirmed he is a Chelsea fan, he also admitted it would be a "huge challenge" to successfully take over the West Londoners.

The Russian billionaire is thought to have been poisoned recently while taking part in peace negotiations following his country's invasion of Ukraine, but it is not the first time he has raised concerns about such an attack. As reported by the Sunday People in 2006, Abramovich was so afraid of being poisoned that he banned outside catering at the boardroom of the West London club and ensured everything prepared for him was tasted first by a bodyguard. Further, he even had a personal chef travel with him to away games to prepare all of his food.
