Ferdinand would be 'amazed' if Chelsea don't sign Trossard
Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he would be 'amazed' if Chelsea don't sign Leandro Trossard. The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues since his former boss swapped the Amex Stadium for Stamford Bridge.
"Trossard, he’s one of the players I’ve heard there hasn’t even been a bid for him since he’s been there, someone told me," said the former Manchester United defender, speaking on his 'Vibe with Five' YouTube channel. "This guy is doing major bits right now.
"If Potter doesn’t go back there to try and sign him I’d be amazed. The best part of his game is being creative. He’s just scored a few goals lately, that’s not even his game.
"I think the creative and the approach play in his game is unreal. The only thing I was asking for before was a bit more end product and he’s actually doing that now."

Jorginho enjoying life at Chelsea
Jorginho has insisted that he's happy at Chelsea despite an increasingly uncertain future. The 30-year-old was heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer as he entered the final year of his deal at Stamford Bridge.
The Italy international will be eligible to begin pre-contract talks with foreign clubs in January over a free transfer in the summer if he fails to pen an extension with the Blues. And, according to the Evening Standard, Barcelona are weighing up a move for the midfielder.
Despite the doubt that's casted over his future at the club, Jorginho has insisted that he's enjoying his time in west London. Speaking to The 5th Stand, he said: "I'm very happy at the moment we’re all very focused on what we need to do.
"I’m enjoying life here. I’m enjoying working with everyone and I think everybody says the same thing. It’s enjoyable to be at Chelsea."
Wright reveals which Chelsea star he wished Arsenal signed
Ian Wright has told Raheem Sterling that he wanted him to join Arsenal instead of Chelsea in the summer. The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for some time before eventually penning a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge instead.
In an interview on Premier League Productions, Wright quizzed Sterling ahead of the highly-anticipated London derby at the weekend. The former Arsenal striker confessed that he 'prayed' there was truth in reports linking the winger to the Gunners.
"I have got to ask you, with Arsenal coming up at the weekend, I was praying that there is truth in the talk about you coming," said Wright. "But it didn’t happen – I got so psyched up about thinking of you in the red kit."
