Reece James tipped for Real Madrid move
Former Liverpool and England defender Glen Johnson has tipped Reece James to be a “perfect” player for Real Madrid. It comes amid links with Los Blancos and the Chelsea right-back.
Speaking to GGRecon, he said: "He would absolutely be a perfect long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal, but I can’t imagine that Chelsea would let him go and I doubt that Reece would want to leave the club anyway. But yes, if Real Madrid could land him then he would be a fantastic long-term replacement."

Chelsea join Arsenal and Spurs in defender race
Chelsea have joined a whole host of clubs reportedly showing interest in Championship full-back Djed Spence this summer. The 21-year-old has impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest this season, aiding their promotion push.

Todd Boehly is said to be confident that his consortium’s attempted takeover of Chelsea Football Club will be completed soon. It comes after “highly productive” talks between parties on Wednesday.
CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs reports that the Boehly-Clearlake bid remains calm and confident they will own the club. He adds that Raine Bank, the US firm in charge of the takeover process, held productive talks with the preferred bidder.
