Chelsea news: Potential owners revealed as Roman Abramovich sets mammoth price

Four parties said to be interested in purchasing Chelsea from Roman Abramovich have been revealed.

The Russian, 55, confirmed on Wednesday that he is looking to sell the club he purchased in 2003 for £140million.

The price Abramovich will demand in order to persuade him to part with the Blues is considerably more than what he spent to purchase the club.

And details of how the process is progressing have now come to light.

It comes after the Blues survived an FA Cup scare to book their place in the next round of the FA Cup as they claimed a 3-2 win over Championship side Luton Town.

Here are Mirror Football's latest Chelsea headlines.

Abramovich names price

Roman Abramovich is reportedly demanding £4billion to sell Chelsea.

But one of the interested parties, Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss, has already told Abramovich he will have to lower his demands in order to conclude a deal.
