Jude Bellingham prediction made amid Chelsea transfer decision

Amidst all the world-class talents set to be on show in Qatar, England have a few of their own in Gareth Southgate's squad, including none other than Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the 19-year-old and Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard cannot wait to get a closer look at. The former Reds captain added: "I'm really excited to watch Jude Bellingham.

"I think in next 10 or 15 years, he's going to become an England superstar. There's a lot of Premier League players out at the World Cup, and they'll be hoping they're on the right side of a successful tournament."

Man Utd release fresh Cristiano Ronaldo statement

Chelsea and Arsenal have both been linked with Manchester United's wantaway superstar Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the January transfer window.

Following his interview, in which he took aim at Ten Hag, United chiefs and the Glazers family, the club have now released the following statement: "Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo's recent media interview.

"We will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion."

Mason Mount breaks silence on Chelsea contract situation

One of the key stumbling blocks Todd Boehly has faced in negotiations has been the length of the new deal, football.london understands.

Mount has insisted that he will not be distracted by uncertainty around his future as he battles to win a place in the England team, coming up against the likes of Phil Foden and James Maddison for their World Cup opener, as per the Evening Standard. The 23-year-old said: “I have always been so focused on my football since I was in the academy.

“I know now there is a lot more media focus on me, but I do not look too much into that. I block it out.”
