Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has admitted he was 'not supposed" to join the Blues, hinting he was set to join Manchester City instead.
The Italian midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge from Napoli in 2018 for a fee of around £50million amid reported interest from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
And Jorginho has now opened up on the move, and how highly he rates City boss Guardiola.
It comes as Jose Mourinho has admitted Tammy Abraham has struggled since his transfer to Roma from Chelsea last summer.
And Hakim Ziyech was the spark at Selhurst Park as the Blues earned three points with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Palace talking points
Hakim Ziyech struck an 89th-minute winner to help new world champions Chelsea earn a narrow 1-0 win at Crystal Palace.
Video assistant referee had denied the Morocco international earlier in the second half when Romelu Lukaku, who only had seven touches at Selhurst Park, was deemed to be offside.
Lost Lukaku and Ziyech's brilliance were just two of the big talking points – which also include an inspired tacticalchange from Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
Mirror Football has covered all of the big talking points from Selhurst Park.
Mourinho's transfer admission
Jose Mourinho has admitted that 'it's not easy' for Tammy Abraham in Italy following his move to Serie A from Chelsea.
Abraham has bagged himself 18 goals in all competitions so far this season, making him the leading English scorer in Europe’s top five leagues.
While Mourinho accepts it's 'not easy to leave England', the former Chelsea boss has laid down a challenge to the striker.
While his Roma side's struggles on the pitch may have been worse not for Abraham's goals this season, Mourinho is now challenging his star striker to do even more for the team.
Jorginho transfer hint
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has hinted he came close to joining Manchester City before signing for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Opening up on his 2018 move from Napoli, the Italy star even admitted that he 'dreams' of one day playing for City boss Pep Guardiola.
While Jorginho's career at Stamford Bridge has been nothing short of spectacular, the midfielder has now admitted that he wasn't actually 'supposed' to join the club as he opened up on just how close he came to joining Guardiola's City side.
