Injury update
Chelsea return to action this weekend as they host Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup on Sunday, two weeks after their 2-0 win over Tottenham.
Thomas Tuchel's side, much like other Premier League sides, has enjoyed the two-week winter break with the time off providing a chance to get more members of the first-team squad back to full fitness following injury.
The likes of Andreas Christensen, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah have been struggling with injuries in recent weeks along with several other Chelsea stars, but the break has brought encouraging updates for several of them.
Blues told of Lukaku 'mistake'
The £97.5million signing of Romelu Lukaku last summer "looks like a mistake", Glen Johnson has warned the club.
Lukaku returned for a second spell at Stamford Bridge after his arrival from Inter Milan last summer but his time has so far proved to be very controversial.
In an interview with Sky Italia the Belgium international revealed he is "not happy" with his situation in west London.
And while admitting Lukaku is a "good player", Johnson has warned Thomas Tuchel he is "not so sure he suits the way Chelsea play".
Ziyech return 'impossible'
Hakim Ziyech has been told his chances of returning into the fold with his country Morocco are "impossible" after the Chelsea man missed the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ziyech remained with the club as his national side made it to the quarter-finals of the tournament, and it currently looks as though he may struggle to add to his tally of 40 caps for his country.
It comes after Morocco manager Vahid Halihodzic accused the winger of refusing to play in a friendly last September, with details of the incident now coming to light.
