Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Friday, January 13.
London derby defeat
Chelsea's disappointing run of form continued last night as Fulham ran out 2-1 winners at Craven Cottage to leave Graham Potter's men winless in their last four games.
Former Blues winger Willian opened the scoring in the first half before Kalidou Koulibaly levelled the scoring early in the second half. Proceedings took an unfortunate turn for Chelsea though, with Denis Zakaria being forced off with injury and Joao Felix receiving a red card on his debut.
Fulham restored their lead and won the game towards the end of the game thanks to Carlos Vinicius' first goal for the club. The defeat leaves Chelsea in tenth, 10 points off the Champions League spots.

Dortmund chief aims dig
Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzk seems to have aimed a dig at Chelsea and Newcastle United target Youssoufa Moukoko. The 18-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from the Bundesliga outfit as he enters the final six-month of his deal.
Speaking to Sky Sport Germany, he said: "I started 18 years ago with the proviso that there might be a little gratitude from time to time, but I’ve given up on that a long time ago. Gratitude is not a currency in professional football.
"Sadly, that really is the case. But I won’t hold that against anyone, because the business is simply the way it is. I don’t think the whole process is very normal. The difference is that he’s 18 years old now and he was at the World Cup and that makes it even more public.
"It’s totally legitimate that he is now trying to get a good position for himself. But it is also legitimate that we have our own ideas. If they do not coincide then the cooperation will not be continued. That is the ultimate consequence – but of course, we hope that he will stay with us."
Thuram U-turn
Chelsea have been handed a huge setback in Todd Boehly's mission to sign a striker this month. The Blues have been heavily linked with a number of top players in the January transfer window as Graham Potter looks to bolster his frontline - one of whom, Marcus Thuram.
According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the club are considering an 'official offer' for the striker but a spanner has been thrown in the works. It's said that Thuram wants to stay at Borussia Monchengladbach this month and see out the remainder of his contract.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League recently amid an increasingly uncertain future at Borussia Monchengladbach.
