Chelsea are still revelling in their qualification for the Champions League knockout stages after their impressive 2-1 away win over Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday evening.
Graham Potter's unbeaten run as Blues boss has remained intact after goals from Matteo Kovacic and a wonder-strike from Kai Havertz either side of Junior Adamu's equaliser were enough to hand the Blues all three points, as they look to advance as group winners.
Potter will now be preparing his side for facing his former club Brighton this weekend as the Blues return to Premier League action.
Mirror Football has analysed the main Chelsea headlines for Thursday, October 27.
Potter concern voiced
Graham Potter has only been in the Chelsea hot seat for just over a month but has already made a habit of doing something that could upset the Blues' biggest names according to Danny Murphy.
The former Brighton boss has enjoyed an unbeaten start to life at Stamford Bridge and oversaw another victory in their most recent outing away at Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League. Goals from Matteo Kovacic and Kai Havertz were enough to secure Chelsea's status as group winners.

Over the course of his reign on the south coast, Potter would often name heavily-rotated line-ups and tweak his formation constantly. Brighton would rarely name an unchanged starting eleven while the 47-year-old was in charge.

Carragher tells Blues star to leave
Jamie Carragher has told Christian Pulisic that he should follow Timo Werner’s lead and leave Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Chelsea sold Werner back to RB Leipzig in the summer for £25million, two years after they paid the German club £47.5m for his services. Werner has rediscovered his form back at Leipzig where he has eight goals and four assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.
By stark contrast, Pulisic has struggled for game time at Chelsea after staying put in the summer transfer window. The USA international has made just his third start of the season in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday night.

Havertz answers “best position” question
Kai Havertz believes he has solved Chelsea's most baffling enigma after stealing the show again in the Champions League.
Three coaches at Stamford Bridge – Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and now Graham Potter – have tried to work out the £72 million German forward's best position.
Havertz insists the best solution of all is to treat him as Chelsea's flexible friend who can play anywhere at the top end of the pitch. The 2021 Champions League final hero came alive again in his favourite competition with a spectacular winner against Salzburg to book the Blues' passage into this season's last 16 as group winners with a game to spare.
