Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel made a final decision on whether to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese ace has asked to leave the Old Trafford club in order to play for a side capable of winning the Champions League next season. New Blues owner Todd Boehly held talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and had been considering an extraordinary bid to sign the former Real Madrid and Juventus star.

Ronaldo transfer decision made
Thomas Tuchel has ruled out a summer move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
The forward appears to have his heart set on leaving United this summer just a year after his emotional return. Blues owner Todd Boehly is keen to bring in a marquee signing this summer to mark the beginning of a new era for the club and had held initial talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes.
But the move is now unlikely to go ahead as Tuchel isn't keen to bring Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.
Sterling arrives in London
Raheem Sterling has been pictured in London ahead of his transfer to Chelsea.
Sterling has agreed personal terms for a move to Chelsea from Manchester City for a fee believed to be around £50million. The ENgland international will sign a five-year contract with an option of a further 12 months.
He's now been videoed having a haircut in London ahead of the move. He is expected to go and join up with Chelsea's pre-season tour of the US once the deal has been completed.
Lukaku told he "flops in crucial games"
Former Premier League star Paolo di Canio has told Romelu Lukaku he failed to turn up in crucial matches for the Blues.
The Belgium international returned to Inter Milan on loan this summer just a year after becoming Chelsea's record signing as he moved to Stamford Bridge for £97.5million. But his struggles at the club last season, along with his decision to public with the fact he was unhappy led to him moving back to Italy.
And now Di Canio has said it "is a fact" that Lukaku "flops in crucial games".
