Christian Pulisic has echoed Romelu Lukaku 's concerns over Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel 's tactics.
The 23-year-old has been unable to cement his place in the Blues' XI this season due to injuries and inconsistent opportunities, ranking 18th in Tuchel's squad for minutes played.
Pulisic featured heavily over the festive period when Chelsea were lacking forward firepower but the United States superstar has started just one of his club's last five matches.
Now on international duty, Pulisic has opened up on his "tough" time of late which has seen him deployed in a number of unfamiliar positions by Tuchel, such as wing-back.

"I have not always been playing in the positions I want to play in," the former Borussia Dortmund star admitted at a press conference.
"But I think it is a good quality to be versatile and able to play in all kinds of positions and have different strengths on the pitch.
"I have learned a lot and I'm ready to hopefully be in a spot over the next few games that I'm more comfortable in."
Nevertheless, Pulisic believes his club form does not hinder his national team performances "too much."
"I am ready when I come in here to do whatever I can to help this team so I'm not thinking about that," he stated.
"Obviously it has been up and down this year, for sure. Not exactly where I want to be and how I want things to be right now.
"I'm just going to keep going and it doesn't affect me when I come here. So I am excited to be here."
Pulisic cost the Blues £57.6million in 2019, making him the most expensive North American player of all-time.
And like Lukaku, his price tag has been a lightning rod for criticism ever since he arrived at Stamford Bridge.
In December, the 28-year-old explained his similar feelings by telling Sky Italia in a bombshell interview: "I'm not happy with the situation and that's only natural.
"The head coach has decided to play a different system and I mustn't let up, I need to keep working hard and be professional.
"I'm not happy with the situation but I’m a grafter and I mustn't let up."
Although Lukaku and Tuchel's relationship appears to be weakened by the drama, the German tactician is pleased with Pulisic, who he worked with at ex-club Dortmund.
"We are happy with the impact he has," Tuchel recently affirmed. "He can play a lot of minutes, he needs to. He has the physical ability to help us.
"Everybody wants him to have numbers, to be effective. Everybody can improve on that. From there we go, that's the situation."
