Chelsea’s disappointing 2022/23 season took another bruising hit at the weekend as the Blues fell to defeat to Aston Villa.
Graham Potter’s men failed to return after the international break with a victory as goals from Ollie Watkins and John McGinn sealed a memorable victory for Unai Emery’s men at Stamford Bridge. Yet another defeat leaves Chelsea in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
Away from on-the-pitch action, there has also been plenty of talk off of it. With that being said, take a look at all of the latest headlines coming out of Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.
Chelsea’s Aubameyang ‘fury’
Chelsea are furious at Barcelona for contacting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and will now refuse to sell the striker to the Catalan club, it has been claimed. The Gabonese has disappointed since his arrival from Barcelona last summer with suggestions that a return to the Camp Nou could be on the cards sooner rather than later.
It appears the Spanish side have already been in contact with Aubameyang regarding a move to Catalonia. As per Diario AS, Barcelona talked to him without permission, something that has left Chelsea furious.
Potter makes Lukaku statement
Speaking of struggling Chelsea strikers, Graham Potter has opened the door for Romelu Lukaku to return to the club this summer.
The Belgium international joined former club Inter Milan on-loan but has failed to re-discover his best form with just three goals in Serie A. The Italian club have confirmed that they will not bring him back next season, with Potter revealing that talks are expected in the near future.
He said: "Well, he’s still a Chelsea player and we’re monitoring him of course. We understand where he’s at, he’s on loan, those decisions will be made in the summer. He’s a fantastic player, someone who we know and like.
"But again, we need to speak about that in the summer because he’s playing on loan for his club."

Ten Hag eyes Chelsea target
Erik ten Hag has given Manchester United's board the 'go-ahead' to sign Benfica striker and Chelsea target Goncalo Ramos.
The Blues have been linked with a move for the Portuguese striker ahead of next season as they aim to bolster their attack. As reported by Spanish outlet AS, Ten Hag has approved the signing of Ramos - but the deal hangs on United's takeover.
The Red Devils are hoping to land Ramos for €100million (£88m), which is thought to be less than his release clause.
