The next few weeks could prove pivotal in Chelsea Football Club's history. As we approach the deadline for bids for the club to be put in, there could be plenty happening behind the scenes to prepare for the summer transfer window.
If the Blues are still in the same situation in the summer, then the club would not be able to conduct any transfer business, with current owner, Roman Abramovich, seeing his assets frozen by the UK government last month. However, there seems to be hope that their search for a new owner will be completed by then.
With all of this being said, football.london rounds up the latest Chelsea-related transfer news and rumours from around Europe.

Blues 'make contact' with Arsenal ace
According to a report from GOAL, Chelsea have 'made contact' with Arsenal Under-18s striker Khayon Edwards over a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. The Gunners are said to be keen on tying the young forward down to a new contract, but the Blues want to take advantage of the uncertainty.
The 18-year-old has scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 22 games this season. This could prove to be a real blow for Arsenal if their London rivals Chelsea can pounce on the situation and take one of their prized assets.
Blues ready to sell trio
Chelsea are willing to sell Timo Werner, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ross Barkley at the end of the season, according to the Telegraph. The Blues are said to be ready to listen to offers for the trio as the club look to raise some funds for possible incomings.
Werner, who started and scored twice in Chelsea's thumping of Southampton on Saturday afternoon, has been constantly linked with an exit from the Blues, but he will be looking to finish the season with performances like the one at St. Mary's and establish himself as a clinical finisher in England. Meanwhile, Kepa and Barkley do not appear to be part of Thomas Tuchel's plans right now.
Dembele 'rejects' Chelsea transfer
According to journalist Carlo Matallanas (via El Larguero), Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele has rejected a move to Chelsea. The France international sees his contract at the Nou Camp expire at the end of the season and could be available as a free agent.
football.london reported in January that Chelsea had been keeping an eye on Dembele's contract situation but no official move was made. Now, the chance of revisiting the situation in the summer appears to have taken a blow.
