Chelsea legend John Terry has poked fun at Sergio Aguero after Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Aguero was forced to retire from football last year but was spotted celebrating on the pitch with his former teammates.
The former Argentina and Manchester City striker was seen wearing an Argentina top and shorts after racing onto the pitch after the penalty shootout. John Terry famously did something similar when he donned his Chelsea kit following the Blues' Champions League triumph in 2012.
The defender was suspended for the final but it did not stop him from celebrating with his teammates after they beat Bayern Munich on penalties. Aguero seemed to copy Terry and the Chelsea legend had a brilliant response to seeing the ex-Argentina international celebrating with Lionel Messi.

Watching the scenes unfold after what is being considered the best World Cup final ever, Terry was a pundit on beIN SPORTS and commented: "Aguero has gone for the full John Terry there hasn’t he?! I did it first."
He later tweeted: "If your going to do it, at least go for it and put the shin pads and boots on! *laughing emoji* *Argentina flag emoji* *trophy emoji* *blue heart emoji*"
Aguero was seen lifting the famous trophy on the pitch after the closing ceremony which saw three Argentina players pick up awards. Emiliano Martinez, who was the hero of the shootout once again, picked up the golden glove, Enzo Fernandez was award the best young player of the tournament award, whilst Messi was awarded the best player award.
