Chelsea join Man United in transfer race for Juventus star as West Ham plot Armando Broja raid

Chelsea's transfer window is expected to get started very soon, with Thomas Tuchel eager to undergo a squad rebuild this summer. The consortium spearheaded by Todd Boehly, who agreed a £4.25billion deal to buy the west London club last month, are expected to 'push for A-list signings' to mark a new era at Stamford Bridge, according to the MailOnline.

With the new ownership group eager to bolster the Blues' armoury, The Telegraph indicate that after player sales are taken into account, Tuchel is set to have £200million at his disposal to strengthen his side. And, this could prove ever more important; each of the west Londoners' Premier League top six rivals - with the exception of Manchester United - have already made a signing.

But, a number of outlets claim that Romelu Lukaku's rumoured return to Inter Milan on loan could ignite a domino effect and finally get the ball rolling at Stamford Bridge. With that in mind, football.london brings you all the latest transfer rumours at Chelsea as the window heats up.

Chelsea rival United for Rabiot

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly asked to leave the Serie A club. Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle are said to be interested in his services.

According to L'Equipe, via GFFN, the Frenchman is determined to leave the Italian giants and has asked to do so. Juventus have set their asking price for the former Paris Saint-Germain man in the range of €15-20million (£13-17million).

With just one-year left on the midfielder's contract, at least one club is likely to strike a deal with the Old Lady over a move for Rabiot. Whether it's Chelsea remains to be seen, but it's certainly not out of the question.

West Ham eye Broja

Thomas Tuchel could lose Armando Broja this summer, with West Ham reportedly eager to sign the striker. The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Chelsea after a successful season-long loan at Southampton.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the striker is the Hammers' 'first priority' this summer. The report adds that negotiations are ongoing over a fee said to be between £25million and £30million.

However, in March, Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb reported that Chelsea value Broja at around €70million (£57.8m), meaning the Blues could lose out on as much as £27.8million if they were to go ahead with the deal.

Tuchel rivals Conte for Bundesliga talisman

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among several top-flight clubs in the race to sign Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic this summer. According to Transfermarkt, the two London sides are joined by Manchester United and Leicester City, meanwhile Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are said to have already held talks with the 24-year-old.

Kalajdzic, whose contract at the Mercedes-Benz Arena expires in 2023, featured 15 times for the German side in the Bundesliga this season, directly contributing towards eight goals. His impressive displays steered Stuttgart clear of relegation and he now has a host of leading club's gunning for his signature.

Dortmund are known to have held a long-standing interest in the striker, with the Serbian heavily linked last summer. According to the Independent, the German giants viewed Kalajdzic as a replacement for Erling Haaland, who has since penned a deal at Manchester City.

West Ham were reportedly one of a few Premier League clubs known to be interested in the striker a year ago, while RB Leipzig were also said to be monitoring the situation. Nonetheless, Kalajdzic, who is valued at £6million by CIES Football Observatory, spoke on his future last month, claiming that he's open to a move and that nothing is out of the picture.
