Chelsea striker Kai Havertz has left the German national team camp after suffering from illness.
Die Mannschaft are due to face Belgium in a friendly on Tuesday night but the 23-year-old will not be involved following news confirmed by Germany.
Havertz had featured for 75 minutes in a 2-0 win over Peru on Saturday evening which saw his penalty rebound chalked off after it hit the post and came straight back to the taker.
It leaves him as a doubt for Chelsea’s upcoming Premier League visit of Aston Villa on April 1.

Speedy recovery, boys 🙏 pic.twitter.com/WBIvM8LOst
Havertz does have nearly a week to recover from what is being described as flu by German media.
The Blues are also sweating over Reece James after he withdrew from the England squad with an ongoing injury issue. Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount had been ruled out of their country’s Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Wesley Fofana, Edouard Mendy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all targeting a return to action against Villa.
