Chelsea are in search of defensive reinforcements this summer after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to La Liga at the end of their contracts.
Rudiger, who had become a talismanic presence in Thomas Tuchel's back-three will be of most priority to replace on the left side of the defence with a number of options already touted.
Two of those have been Torino's Gleison Bremer and RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol. Football.london understands Bremer has been watched by Chelsea this season – and as an aggressive centre-back who has played on the left of a back three this term, he would likely be a replacement for Rudiger should an approach come to fruition.

But the Blues might have been handed a fresh blow to any hopes of securing Bremer this summer, as Calcio Mercato are reporting that Inter Milan are prioritising closing a deal for the 25-year-old Brazillian. With an agreement with the player in place for some time, Inter aim to finalise a deal at around £21m.
Gvardiol, five years younger than Bremer, is one of the fastest developing young defenders and is reportedly a preferred target for Tuchel from the Bundesliga should the Blues move quickly to sign the Croatian from the Bundesliga.
