Chelsea have been handed a late injury concern ahead of their Carabao Cup final with Liverpool on Sunday with Andreas Christensen set to miss out.
football.london understands that the centre-back has not travelled with the Blues to Wembley after picking up an Achilles injury in the build-up to the game.
The Denmark international has started Chelsea's last two games, even filling in at right-back against Crystal Palace, but Thomas Tuchel will have to make do without him today.
The clash with Liverpool will kick-off at 4.30pm with Tuchel looking to add the Carabao Cup to the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup already won.
"Maybe 51% or 55% they are the favourites because of recent form and results," Tuchel told his pre-match press conference.
"But we all know, like when we were favourites against Lille, that they would play to their full level, that they will play the role of underdog and will not accept it as a disadvantage.
"Neither do we. We have things to trust on and have experienced tight, tight matches against Liverpool. I think the last three were all draws but that will not happen at Wembley.
"We will find a winner somehow and we know very well what it takes to have a tough match against them.
"We are confident we have everything it takes and we have to show it. I think it's the same for them and it will be nice to have a match like this in the final."
That task will have only been harder by the news that Christensen is set to miss out with a minor injury on Sunday. It leaves room for either Trevoh Chalobah or Reece James to come back into the starting XI.
Assuming Tuchel sticks with his preferred 3-4-2-1 set-up, the most likely move may well be to bring Cesar Azpilicueta back into the back-three and reinstate James at right wing-back.
