Boehly affected by Bayern Munich decision
Bayern Munich have ruled themselves out of signing Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portugal forward saw his contract terminated at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is currently at the World Cup with his national team but will return to England without a club side following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old is now looking for a new team and Chelsea are one of the clubs strongly linked with him after Todd Boehly met with agent Jorge Mendes last summer. Bayern had also been linked with a move but they are no longer in the running.

Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn said: “I can rule out a move for Ronaldo. We’ve considered it, we all love Ronaldo but strategy is different."

'Next Neymar' transfer
Chelsea are looking at Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams, according to reports.
The attacker is currently in Qatar with Spain at the World Cup but is about to enter the final 18 months of his contract and could be available on a cheap deal.
He has already contributed to seven goals this season for his club and at 20 years old is also a target for Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, write Goal.

Chelsea set to sign midfielder
The Blues are on the verge of signing Vasco de Gama midfielder Andrey Santos, according to reports.
The Brazilian midfielder is extremely highly rated and was being closely watched by PSG for a while, but Le10 Sport write that Chelsea are set to agree a £15m deal for the 18-year-old.
The deal could be done as soon as January and would prove to be a major coup, especially given the battle for Endrick that also involves PSG.
