Chelsea will need to be on top form and then some if they are to even come close to progressing past Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals. With a 2-0 defecit heading into the second leg it is all to do for Frank Lampard and his team at Stamford Bridge.
Although Chelsea, and indeed Lampard, have history when it comes to unlikely, unexpected and improbable comebacks in the competition, this would surely top the lot should they oversee a dramatic turnaround. Whereas Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti are serial winners in Europe, Chelsea haven't won in their past five games.
Lampard himself has lost three out of three in caretaker charge with just one goal being scored. In the first leg his side were off the pace and were fortunate to escape with even a fighting chance of getting back into the tie. Here, they will have to do it without two of the starting defenders from the trip to Spain.

Ben Chilwell was sent off for a cynical last-man foul in the second half, whilst Kalidou Koulibaly limped off injured in the Santiago Bernabeu. It could see a defensive rejig and change in shape from Lampard.
Here are the full set of players he will have available for the game.
Goalkeepers: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Edouard Mendy, Marcus Bettinelli
Defenders: Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana.
Midfielders: Enzo Fernandez, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, Denis Zakaria, Conor Gallagher.
Forwards: Christian Pulisic, Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz.
