Chelsea fixtures compared to Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle amid Graham Potter pressure

Graham Potter's time at Chelsea went from bad to worse on Sunday as his toothless Chelsea side were beaten 2-0 at Tottenham Hotspur.

Potter was already under enormous pressure from Chelsea supporters prior the London derby at Spurs but yet another defeat means it is now just one win in 11 matches across all competitions. Crystal Palace are the only side the Blues have beaten in the calendar year of 2023, but according to reports, Todd Boehly is set to retain faith in the man he wanted.

With that defeat at Spurs, any faint hopes of a top four finish have now vanished meaning that the home leg against Dortmund is effectively the last chance to make something of the season. Potter now has just 10 days to get his side ready for that match, in what could well be make or break for his future despite Boehly's determination to see the former Brighton boss succeed.

Here's what is coming up for the man under the microscope ahead of next month's international break.

Leeds (H) - March 4

Another game on paper that Chelsea will expect maximum points from represents yet another banana skin. Leeds will enter the match on the back of a new manager bounce as Javi Gracia picked up a win in his first game in charge on Saturday against Southampton.

Having already lost at the hands of their historic rivals, Potter can ill afford another defeat against a relegation candidate after Southampton completed a league double over the Blues last weekend. With this being the final match before the Champions League return it has even more importance.

Borussia Dortmund (H) - March 7

This is Chelsea's season in a single match. Anything but European progression will leave the rest of the domestic year all but over. Potter has the task of overturning a narrow first leg defeat and must do it under the most intense of scrutiny.

His best results have come in Europe so far so there is still a chance but it will be hard to see Chelsea garnering too much belief given their results since the first leg in Dortmund. The Champions League has been the maker and breaker of previous managers, how Boehly and Co feel about the competition will go a long way to deciding Potter's fate.

Leicester City (A) - March 11

It's back to domestic action after that though for a reunion with another former Blues figure. Brendan Rodgers, who has come under his own pressure with the Foxes this season, will be hoping to add to the misery and gloom at Stamford Bridge.

Leicester have looked a little better in recent weeks but much of their form depends on the fitness of James Maddison. Should he be fit and firing, it'll be another tough game for Chelsea.

Everton (H) - March 18

Another home game against one of the Premier League's strugglers as Sean Dyche's Everton travel to Stamford Bridge fighting for their lives. Both sides are out of the FA Cup and so this will clash will definitely be going ahead.

Dyche has breathed some life back into Everton's season since his appointment but they are still struggling for goals, as well as wins away from Goodison Park. Anything less than a win here is inexcusable.
